% 17.08.2017 The petitioner claims relief under Section 24 (2) of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 on the basis of power of attorney executed in 2015 by one Rakesh Sharma who in turn is alleged to have the power of attorney of the original land owner. Rakesh Sharma is said to have acquired some interest through the power of attorney executed. Neither is that part of attorney on record nor do the record reveals that the said Rakesh Sharma ever claimed compensation in the acquisition proceedings.
In view of these facts, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw the writ petition and file fresh proceedings, if other documents are available. Liberty granted.
The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
