Brief note dated 16th October, 2017 has been handed over by Mr. Kirtiman Singh, ld. CGSC placing before us the compliance with the directions made on 25th July, 2017. In the note, we have further informed as follows :

Pursuant thereto, the process of award of the work was also expedited.

It is submitted that the Standing Committee was constituted on 23.08.2017 and the first meeting of the Standing Committee was held on 06.10.2017.

The proposal for approval of rates and agency for the work of 'Construction of ROB/RUB at Sultanpuri near Nangloi (Balance Work)'was placed in the meeting of Standing Committee on 06.10.2017 and the same was approved by the Standing Committee.

The work has finally been awarded to the contractor namely, M/s Maan Builders on 10.10.2017. A copy of the acceptance Letter dated 10.10.2017 is annexed herewith and marked as ANNEXURE - A herewith.

It is submitted that the completion period of 22 months from the date letter of acceptance."

Mr. Sunil Goel, ld. Standing Counsel for the North Delhi Municipal Corporation submits that the Standing Committee was constituted on 22nd September, 2017 and not on 23rd August, 2017. 3.

Be that as it may, the award of work and the stipulated date of completion, as noted above, are confirmed. 4.

In view thereof, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition and application which are disposed of. 5.

The respondents shall ensure that the timeline indicated to this court for completion of the work in question is strictly complied with.
