Pursuant to order dated 25.01.2024, respondent/State has filed the status report dated 'nil' and verified the factum of death of Rasheed/ appellant herein and as per report, he died on 15.08.2023 at Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, Rohini.

In view of the above, the appeal stands abated and the application is disposed of with directions that bail bonds submitted by deceased-appellant stand cancelled and his surety stands discharged. Endorsement, if any, on any document be cancelled and returned to concerned surety or authorised person.
