The present application has been filed by the respondent stating inter alia that vide order dated 8.8.2016, the respondent was directed to take a decision in the matter on or before 31.8.2016 in accordance with law, under intimation to the petitioner.

Mr. Sonal Kumar Singh, counsel for the respondent states that there has been some development after passing of the order dated 8.8.2016 inasmuch as on 23.8.2016, the respondent had conducted a Review Committee Meeting, wherein the petitioner‟s representation was reviewed and the matter was referred back to the Identification Committee. In the meantime, the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.2.50 crores and submitted a post dated cheque dated 31.8.2016 to the respondent for a sum of Rs.2.50 crores, which has duly been realized.
