O R D E R

% 13.01.2017 (1) Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioners for quashing of FIR No.50/2012 under Section 135 Electricity Act, 2003 registered at Police Station Gulabi Bagh / Pratap Bagh.

It is stated that the matter has been settled with the complainant/respondent No.2 amicably before the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi vide settlement agreement dated 03.02.2015. (2) Learned counsel for respondent No.2 / Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. is present before the Court and informs that the petitioners have paid their all dues and respondent No.2 / Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. has no objection to the quashing of the FIR. CRL.M.C. 2118/2016

(3) The petition is supported by the affidavits of the petitioners. Copy of settlement agreement dated 03.02.2015 has been placed on record.

(4) Since the matter has been settled between the parties amicably and the entire dues have been paid, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.50/2012 under Section 135 Electricity Act, 2003 registered at Police Station Gulabi Bagh / Pratap Bagh and all the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. (5) The petitioners are, however, burdened with costs of `10,000/- to be deposited with Prime Minister Relief Fund within two weeks. The Registry shall ensure the compliance of the order. (6) The petition is disposed of accordingly.
