% 26.08.2016 Present FIR under Section 404/420/467/468/471/474/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Mahendra Park on the complaint of respondent No. 2. Respondent No. 2 alleged in the FIR that his son was the tenant of petitioner No. 1. In the year 2012, respondent No. 2 gave `2,50,000/- to his son to enable him to purchase a house in Delhi. House bearing No. A-332 was purchased by his son who unfortunately died on 30th May, 2012. Original papers of the property were with the deceased. Petitioners removed original papers and prepared forged documents including a GPA. Petitioner and respondent No.2 have settled the matter in Delhi Government Mediation & Conciliation Centre, Jahangirpuri, Delhi on 12th

April, 2016. Respondent No. 2 submits that possession of Janta DDA flat No. A-332, ground floor, Jahangirpuri, Delhi has been handed over by the petitioners to him besides `80,000/- in cash, in terms of the settlement, therefore, he does not wish to pursue the FIR any further. During the course of hearing it has been pointed out that original chain of documents in respect of Janta DDA flat No. A-332, ground floor, Jahangirpuri, Delhi are with the Investigating Officer SI Devender Kumar of Police Station Mahendra Park. Investigating Officer submits that original papers will be handed over to the respondent No. 2 after retaining photocopies thereof. Let it be done within a week. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, FIR No.

372/2015, under Sections 404/420/467/468/471/474/34 IPC registered at Police Station Mahendra Park and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed subject to, however, each of the petitioners depositing `10,000/- with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee within four weeks. Copy of the receipts be handed over to the Investigating Officer. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
