3. This petition concerns the failure of the Respondent to process the request of the Petitioner, made one month ago by letter dated 21st April 2016, for reexporting the goods that were imported by the Petitioner under Bill of Entry No. 4285446 dated 17th February, 2016.

4. It is not in dispute that the Petitioner's request has not yet been processed. In that view of the matter, it is directed that the present petition will be treated by the Respondent as a representation made to him. The Petitioner's request for re-export will be considered and the order passed thereon shall communicated to the Petitioner not later than 15th June, 2016. If there is noncompliance with the above direction, it will be open to the Petitioner to revive the petition.
