% 04.01.2018 The appellant has been convicted under Sections 392/365 read with Section 34 of the IPC. Maximum sentence awarded to him is RI five years as also a fine of ₹5,000/- and in default of payment of fine to undergo SI for one year. The last nominal roll of the appellant reflects that as on 15.10.2012, he has suffered incarceration of about more than 4- 1⁄2 years.

Learned APP for the State informs this Court that the sentence of the appellant must have been completed by now and most likely he would have been released from the jail.

Be that as it may, let the latest nominal roll of the appellant be requisitioned for the next date.
