% 04.08.2016 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.691/2014 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 498A/ 406/34 IPC against the petitioners.
The complainant is present in Court. She is identified by the IO. She has also produced her proof of identity, which has been shown to the Court and returned.
The parties have arrived at a settlement on 25.01.2016, which has been placed on record. The complainant states that the matter has been amicably settled and that the complainant and the petitioner are living together happily.
The complainant states that she joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question and states that the settlement has been arrived at her own free will.
Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings arising therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
