% 06.09.2016 By the present petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.1042/2014 under Sections 392/397/34 IPC registered at PS Kanjhawla. In view of the offences punishable under Sections 392/397 IPC being invoked which are serious in nature, the above-noted FIR cannot be quashed in view of the decision of the Supreme Court reported as 2012(9) Scale 257: 2012 (10) SCC 303 Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab & Anr. Petition and application are dismissed.
