1. On 02.11.2023, this Court after noting the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners were not contacting him, had granted time to the learned counsel for the respondents to examine whether the petitioners had already been granted the benefits in terms of the decision of a Co-ordinate Bench dated 06.12.2018 in Surjeet Singh & Ors. V. UOI & Anr.(W.P.(C)2372/2018).

2. Learned counsel for the respondents, submits that he has still not been able to receive clear instructions in this regard.

3. Today, learned counsel for the petitioners again reiterates that the petitioners are not contacting him.

5. Be that as it may be, we find no reason to keep the present petition pending any further and, accordingly, dispose of the same for nonprosecution. We, however, grant liberty to the petitioners to seek revival of the present petition within a period of one year, if the need so arises.
