% 29.02.2016 Mr. Naveen Chawla, learned counsel representing the Union of India invites my attention to paragraph 5 of the affidavit of Mr. Manhas Mandal, Under Secretary (Judicial-II), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India dated 25.02.2016 to urge that the relief prayed for in the present petition is satisfied. A perusal of the paragraph 5 of the said affidavit reads as follows:- "5. That the Central Government after due consideration of the request as referred to at para 4 above has vide its order dated 15.02.2016, accorded under proviso to Section 188 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 sanction for inquiry and trial of the accused Krishna Kumar Laxminarayan Khetan, S/o Laxminarayan Badridas Khetan, R/o 105, Prakruti Apartment Opposite Uma Bhawan, Bhattar road, Surat, Gujarat, in FIR No.2/2016 dated 30.01.
2016 registered at DCB Police Station, Surat City, Gujarat for committing the offence of issuing in bad faith, dud cheques under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and for taking cognizance of the said offence by a court of Competent Jusirdiction of India. A copy fo the sanction order dated 15.02.2016 is annexed hereto and marked as Annexure-A."
A copy of the sanction order dated 15.02.2016 has been annexed to the said affidavit dated 25.02.2016 whereby requisite sanction for inquiry and trial
of accused Krishna Kumar Laxminarayan Khetan has been granted for allegedly committing an offence under Section 420 IPC.
