% 23.09.2016 The petitioners have preferred the present petition to seek quashing of FIR No.265/2016 under Section 452/308/34 IPC. The FIR came be to registered on the complaint of respondent No.2. Apart from respondent No.2, respondent No.3 was also injured in the incident. Both respondent nos.2 and 3 are present in court and they are identified by the I.O. They state that they have settled their disputes with the petitioner and do not wish to pursue the matter any further. The petitioners are present in court and they have been counselled to mend their ways and not to indulge in violent conduct. They have assured
the court that they shall in future not indulge in such violent conduct. The petitioners have also offered to show their remorse by stating that they are willing to make a contribution with the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.
In view of the aforesaid, the FIR and the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed subject to each of the petitioner depositing Rs.5,000/- with the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund within two weeks. The receipt of payment of costs be deposited with the I.O. and thereafter the case shall be closed.
Petition stands disposed of.
