% 06.09.2016 Petitioners and the respondent no.2 are neighbours. A quarrel ensued between them on some trivial matter wherein the petitioners have allegedly assaulted respondent no.2 resulting in simple injuries to him. Present FIR No.451/2015 under Sections 308/34 IPC was registered against the petitioners at police station Madhu Vihar on the complaint of respondent no.2. Petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably in order to maintain harmonious relations in future. They have settled the matter with the intervention of respectable persons of the society vide

settlement deed/panchayatnama dated 6th May, 2015. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Moolchand Tyagi PS Madhu Vihar. Respondent no.2 submits that he does not wish to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement arrived at with the neighbours, that is, the petitioners.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, the present FIR No.451/2015 under Sections 308/34 IPC registered against the petitioners at police station Madhu Vihar is quashed in view of the settlement. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. A.K. PATHAK, J.
