BAIL APPLN. 607/2017 and CRL.M.A. No. 5705/2017 (U/s 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of the production warrant for N.D.O.H.) Learned counsel for the petitioner is present in court seeking regular bail under Sections 439 r/w 436-A r/w 482 Cr.P.C in FIR No. 152/2011 under Sections 406/409/419/420/467/468/471/120B/34 IPC. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail since long, hence, he may be granted bail. It has been alleged that the accused along with other co-accused carried a scam to the tune of Rs.494 crores, duping a sizeable section of the society including other complainants throughout the country and about 13500 investors. It is also

evident from the record that the earlier two bail applications of the accused were dismissed. Learned counsel for the petitioner has not been able to point out any new fact and material which may allow the court to grant the bail to the accused. The offence is of very serious nature. Hence, I do not find any ground for the grant of bail to the accused and also not find any infirmity in the order passed earlier. Dismissed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the trial court may be directed to expedite the trial. Let the trial court as per its roster expedite the trial of the matter.
