% 03.08.2016 Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the in spite of his application having been filed in June, 2015 (before the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Mehrauli) yet no action has been taken on this application.

The averments in this petition disclose that the land of the petitioner (as per the orders of the SDM dated 31.10.2002) vested with the Gaon Sabha. The petitioner was not notified of this order. He was prejudiced. He moved an application under Appendix VI Rule 14 of the Delhi Land Reforms Rules, 1964 (akin to Order IX Rule XIII of the CPC). His submission is that since 10.6.2015 because of the absence of the SDM on so many dates this application has not been taken up for hearing.

On advance notice learned counsel for the respondent has put in appearance. He submits that the SDM is hearing matters and this

Court has been informed that one Mr.Verma is the SDM. The SDM will ensure that the aforenoted application of the petitioner is taken up for hearing and decided within an outer limit of six weeks from today.

Petitioner to appear before SDM Mehrauli on 08.8.2016. Petition disposed of.
