O R D E R

% 08.11.2016 On the complaint of respondent no.2, FIR No.587/2014 under Sections 406/420/34 IPC was registered at the police station Burari against the petitioners. Disputes between petitioners and respondent no.2 have been settled before the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 29th October, 2014. Disputes had arisen between petitioners and respondent no.2 on some business dealing, which they were having with each other. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and admits having settled the matter with the petitioners before the Mediation Centre. It is submitted that matter has been settled by him on his own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure. Respondent no.2 admits having received the entire settled amount.

He submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any

further.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 before the Mediation Centre, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. More so, settled amount has been paid by petitioners to respondent no.2. Accordingly, FIR No.587/2014 under Sections 406/420/34 IPC registered at the police station Burari is quashed in view of the settlement. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
