% 01.06.2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondentIndian Nursing Council to conduct an inspection of the petitioner-Institute and permit petitioner-institution to run General Nursing and Midwifery [GNM] course for the session 2016-17. Petitioner further seeks a direction to respondent-INC to update the name of petitioner-institution in its permitted institutions list for the aforesaid course for the academic session 2016-17.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that though the petitioner had applied for inspection for GNM course for academic session 2016-17, yet no inspection has been conducted till date.

Learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice, states that he has no instruction in the present case and he is not aware whether petitioner's proposal is in accordance with law and guidelines.

Keeping in view the aforesaid, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent to decide the petitioner's application at page 36 of the paper book in accordance with law and guidelines within a period of six weeks.

It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and right and contentions of all parties are left open. MANMOHAN, J JUNE 01, 2016 rn
