O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter 'the Act') seeking appointment of an arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes that have arisen between the parties in relation to the partnership deed dated 08.11.2004 and a dissolution deed dated 31.03.2010.

The petitioner had invoked the arbitration clause by a letter dated 28.12.2015. The petitioner had received no response to the same. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that he has no objection if the sole arbitrator is appointed to adjudicate the disputes between the parties.

Accordingly, Mr Akshya Makhija, Advocate (Mobile No.

9810079901) is appointed as the sole arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. This is subject to him making the necessary disclosure

under Section 12 of the Act and not being ineligible under Section 12(5) of the Act. The arbitration shall be conducted under the aegis of Delhi International Arbitration Centre and in accordance with its Rules. The parties shall appear before the Co-ordinator, DIAC on 26.05.2017 at 11:00 AM.
