% 13.09.2017 Petition was filed for the action to be taken by the respondentEDMC. In the status report by way of affidavit filed on behalf of respondent-EDMC, it is stated, as follows :
"2.
That, action was fixed for 12.07.2017 but the same could not be taken as the police force was engaged in another demolition program. Further demolition program was fixed for 04.09.2017 & 06.09.2017 and deviations in the shape of roof of third floor and projection/chhajja were demolished partly of property no. R-62 and thereafter entire building has been sealed again.
Photographs enclosed herewith as Annexure R-1, Colly. The demolition action at property no. R-58, could not be executed as the property could not be vacated by the police force. 3.
That, further demolition action has been planned for 26.09.2007 & 27.09.2017 and the same will be taken on availability of sufficient police force for vacation and demolition."
In view of the status report that has come to be filed, ld. counsel
for the petitioner does not press the petition and it is deemed appropriate to dispose off the writ petition directing that the respondent-EDMC to complete the action(s) on their part as is statutorily expected of them in a time bound manner. Petition is disposed off accordingly.
