% 08.07.2016 Matter has been taken up today as 7th July, 2016 was declared holiday on account of 'Id-ul-Fitr'.
Petitioner is the father of respondent nos.2 & 3. He is a senior citizen. Petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection. He has alleged that private respondents have been threatening him and he apprehends danger to his life.
Learned ASC, on instruction from ASI Davender Kumar PS Dabri, submits that beat staff has already been sensitized and has even contacted the petitioner to enquire about his well-being. Mobile phone numbers of Beat Staff, Division Officer and Station House Office of the police station Dabri have been given to the petitioner with the request to contact them, in case any threat is extended by the private respondents. Petitioner is present
in Court and admits that beat staff has contacted him and has assured the full assistance in case of any threat.
In view of the above, present petition is disposed of with the directions to respondent no.1 to ensure that beat staff remains in regular touch with the petitioner. It is further ordered that Station House Officer police station Dabri shall ensure the safety of petitioner. Dasti.
