% 08.07.2016 7th July, 2016 having been declared a holiday, the matter has been taken up today.

Charge for offences punishable under Sections 366/376 IPC and 6 Prevention of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012 (in short 'POCSO Act') has been framed against the petitioner.

The last date of hearing before the learned Special Court was 7th May, 2016. The learned Trial Court has fixed the next date as 17th November, 2016 for examination of the prosecutrix. One fails to understand as to why such a long date has been given by the learned Special Court for examination of the prosecutrix. The Special Court is directed to prepone the date of examination of the prosecutrix and examine her preferably within a period of two months. List this petition on 6th October, 2016.
