O R D E R

% 13.02.2017 Today learned counsel for North DMC has handed over a status report. In the said status report, it is stated that the regularization application filed by the owner of property no.3275, Ranjit Nagar, New Delhi was rejected on 2nd February, 2017 and thereafter, demolition action was undertaken on 8th and 10th February, 2017 wherein one room existing on the terrace/roof on top of the third floor as well as the roof of the third floor was pulled down and the third floor of the property was made inhabitable.

It is further stated in the status report that the entry to the third floor has been completely sealed and vacation notice has been issued to the occupants of the ground, first and second floor. It is also stated

that the owner of the property has thereafter once again filed a regularization application dated 9th February, 2017. Keeping in view of the aforesaid developments, present contempt petition is disposed of holding the respondent-North Delhi Municipal Corporation bound by its averments in the status report dated 13th February, 2017, which is taken on record.
