CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 04.09.2018 Counsel for respondent no. 2 submits that respondent no. 2 has no objection in case FIR No. 1026/2014 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act (Amend.), 2003 registered at Police Station Kalkaji and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, in view of the settlement arrived at between respondent no. 2 and the petitioner. It is submitted that the settled amount has already been received by respondent no. 2.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be
served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
