Mr Varma, the learned senior counsel appearing for the Indian Golf Union (IGU) states that the new rules have now been framed, which have also been approved by the Government of India, Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. He states that in terms of the said Rules a Ladies Committee has to be constituted from the nominees elected by various State Golf Association (SGA). He points out that in terms of Rule 52(b) of the IGU Rules (which have now been adopted) each SGA would propose one lady member from their State as a nominee for the Ladies Committee and from amongst these candidates, a suitable candidate will be elected.

Rule 52 (a) and (b) of IGU are relevant and are set out below:- "52 Ladies Committee (a) The Chairperson of the Ladies Committee will be a member of the Council with voting rights and will be elected through due process as is applicable for other Council members.
(b) Each SGA may propose one lady member from their State as candidate for the Committee membership, and amongst these, a suitable candidate will be elected as per due process."

Mr Varma, further states that the said process would be completed within a period of 90 days (commencing from 24.07.2018). 4.
In view of the above, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh if the process is not completed within the stipulated period. 5.
It is clarified that the petitioner would not be precluded from participating in the said process provided she is nominated by the concerned SGA.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. The pending application is disposed of.
