Present

application has been filed for appointment of Mr.Ramesh Chand Goel as guardian ad-litem of petitioner No.3 who is suffering from mental disorder. The respondents have no objection to it.

Mr.Ramesh Chand Goel is petitioner No.3's father and has no interest adverse to him.

He is appointed as guardian ad-litem of petitioner No.3.

The application stands disposed of.

Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.543/2014 under Sections 498A/406/354/34 IPC at PS Keshav Puram.

It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably with the complainant / respondent No.2 in Bail Applications 953/2015 and 954/2015 vide order dated 16.07.2015. 2.

Complainant / respondent No.2 is present with her counsel and has been identified by the Investigating Officer. I have enquired from the complainant if she has settled the dispute with the petitioners amicably without any fear or pressure. She has informed that all the disputes between the parties have been resolved amicably with her free consent and she has no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question.

Pursuant to the order dated 17.10.2015, a demand draft bearing No.446327 dated 25.04.2016 for a sum of `10 lacs drawn on Union Bank has been given to the complainant in the Court today (Photocopy kept).

The complainant informed that all payments pursuant to the settlement have been made by the petitioners. 3.

The petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. Copy of order dated 17.10.2015 has been placed on record. Since the matter has been settled between the parties and the divorce by mutual consent has already been granted vide decree dated 04.05.2016, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to settle in life after divorce, FIR No.543/2014 under Sections 498A/406/354/34 IPC at PS Keshav Puram and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

The petitioners are directed to deposit `25,000/- as costs in the Prime Minister Relief Fund within two weeks. Registry shall ensure its compliance.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
