Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State accepts notice. By this petition, the petitioner seeks extension of parole granted to him for a further period of two weeks to finalize the marriage alliance of his daughter. Petitioner was granted parole for a period of four weeks by this Court vide order dated 24th May, 2018 on the ground that he had to appear in the term end graduation exams from 1st June, 2018 to 12th June, 2018 and W.P.(CRL) 1936/2018

also to find a suitable match for his daughter who is aged 30 years. The petitioner has been able to negotiate marriage proposals in the meantime and found a suitable boy, who is residing in London, for his daughter and is coming to India on 16th July, 2018.

Considering the fact that the petitioner wants to finalize the marriage alliance of his daughter who is aged 30 years and as per the nominal roll, the petitioner has earlier been granted parole and furloughs which concession he has never misused, this Court deems it fit to extend the parole granted to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the parole granted to the petitioner vide order dated 24th May, 2018 and extended for a period of one week on 27th June, 2018 is extended for a further period of two weeks from the date when the earlier parole expires on the same terms and conditions as imposed by this Court vide order dated 24th May, 2018. Petition is disposed of.
