% 05.07.2018 Petitioner No.1 (Husband) and Respondent No.2 (Wife) are present in Court today. Respondent No.2 has been identified by SI VIpin Kumar of police station Kalyan Puri. They submit that they have settled their disputes amicably and started living together vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 09th August, 2018. Therefore, FIR no. 950/2015 registered at police station Kalyan Puri, under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC be quashed. Respondent No.2 admits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners and is living with the petitioner No.1, therefore, she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner No.1 and his relatives, i.e., petitioner nos. 2 to 5.
Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner No.1 and respondent no.2 voluntarily and respondent no.2 has no objection in quashing of the FIR against the petitioners, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR no. 950/2015, registered at police station Kalyan Puri, under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
