1. For the reasons stated therein, the delay of 24 days in re-filing the petition is condoned.

3. It is stated that the parties are in the process of settling their disputes and an adjournment is sought for this purpose.
4. It is seen that the present petition under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been pending since October 2014, i.e., for more than two years. It is also noticed that till date no steps have been taken for appointment of an Arbitrator.

5. In the circumstances, the Court directs that the order dated 14th October 2014 will continue for a period of eight weeks from today by which time the parties should have resolved their disputes failing which the Petitioner should take steps to have an Arbitrator appointed in accordance with law. In other words if either of the above steps is not taken by then, the interim order dated 14th October 2014 will come to an end on the expiry of the aforesaid period.
