CORAM:

HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JAYANT NATH

O R D E R

% 03.06.2016 CM No.22829/2016 (exemption) Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.

LPA No.381/2016 & CM No.22828/2016 (directions) The petitioner in W.P.(C) No.40/2016 is the appellant before us. The said writ petition filed with a prayer to direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to grant accreditation/affiliation to the writ petitioner for two more units in "electrician trade" is still pending and stands posted to 22.07.2016.

LPA 381/2016

The only grievance of the appellant/writ petitioner appears to be that inspite of ample time granted, the respondent No.1 has not yet filed its response till date resulting in the writ petition getting adjourned from time to time. It is pleaded that since the admission process for Academic Session 2016 has already begun, unless the entitlement of the appellant/writ petitioner for affiliation for two more units is decided expeditiously another Academic Session will also be lost.

Shri Rajesh Gogna, the learned CGSC and Shri Umang Mittal, Advocate who appeared on advance notice on behalf of the respondent Nos.1 and 2 have undertaken to file the counter affidavits on behalf of the respondent Nos.1 and 2 in W.P.(C) No.40/2016 on or before 14.06.2016 without fail.

The appeal is accordingly disposed of recording the undertaking of the learned counsel for the respondents and granting liberty to the appellant to move an appropriate application in W.P.(C) No.40/2016 for necessary relief after 14.06.2016.

The appellant/writ petitioner is also permitted to move such an application before the Vacation Bench.

Appeal is accordingly disposed of.

CHIEF JUSTICE JAYANT NATH, J JUNE 03, 2016 kks LPA 381/2016
