Learned counsel for the respondent under instructions has made certain submissions. His submission is that the earlier status report filed by the respondent had detailed the action taken up that period of time i.e. 17.09.2016 wherein it had been noted that the subject matter of the present writ petition i.e. property at terrace of the third floor of E-6, Lajpat Nagar-II, New Delhi had been booked for 02.09.2016. Thereafter a demolition order qua this property was passed on 29.11.2016; since this property was a residential property, a show cause notice under Section 343/344 of the DMC Act had also been issued to the owner/occupier on 14.12.2016. Learned counsel for the respondent informs this Court that the owner/occupier had against demolition order approached the ATMCD and the ATMCD had ordered a status quo qua a portion of the said property and the next

date fixed before the ATMCD is 19.04.2017. His additional submission is that the portion of the property which is illegal and unauthorized and for which there is no stay by the ATMCD, a demolition program has now been fixed for 24.01.2017. His further statement is that all actions in accordance with law shall be initiated and completed. This statement of the learned counsel for the respondent is taken on record. It is hoped and expected that the same shall be honoured in true letter and spirit.

No further orders are called for in this petition. It is disposed of.
