O R D E R

% 14.05.2018 The parties have settled their dispute before the Mediation Centre vide settlement agreement dated 19.04.2018. In terms of the settlement agreement, the respondent has undertaken to pay to the petitioner a total sum of Rs.50 lakhs in five equated instalments of Rs.10 lakhs each. The respondent has also handed over five post dated cheques of Rs.10 lakhs each. The first of which was dated 20.04.2018 and the last of which is dated 20.08.2018. The first cheque dated 20.04.2018 has already been encashed. The respondent is directed to ensure that the cheques are duly encashed when presented for payment to the bankers of the respondent. Binding the parties to the settlement agreement, the petition is disposed of.

In case there is a default on the part of the respondent, liberty is granted to the petitioner to take steps as per law against the respondent
