% 15.06.2016 Petitioner is a differently abled student who had sat for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) on 9th April, 2016 and he claims to have disclosed that he is differently abled and so, he is entitled to extra one hour time to take Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). It is the case of petitioner that he was not allowed one extra hour to complete his examination and in this regard, he had made a complaint via e-mail on 9th April, 2016 itself but to no avail.

The prayer made in this petition is to put on hold the JEE (Main) examination results, which are to be declared on 30th June, 2016, or to allow re-examination of petitioner for full four hours or to award extra 42 W.P.(C) 5567/2016

marks in lieu of not allowing one hour extra time. Upon hearing and on perusal of the material and the e-mail on record, I find that petitioner has belatedly approached this Court to now seek four hours time to rewrite his examination or to seek extra marks in lieu thereof.

It is the case of respondents that petitioner had not disclosed that he was differently abled and nor had sought extra time during the course of examination.

Be that as it may. Since petitioner has belatedly approached this Court when the main results are to be declared, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.
