O R D E R

% 11.07.2018 The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, essentially seeks a direction in the nature of mandamus to the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) to take action, in accordance with law, against the alleged illegal construction being carried out by respondent No. 3 in House No. A-13, Bau Park, Kotla Mubarakpur, Delhi-110003 (hereinafter referred to as 'subject property').

Issue notice.

Ms. Biji Rajesh, learned counsel appearing on advance notice states that the subject property has already been booked for unauthorized construction and in pursuance thereto, demolition action has been taken by them on 12th June, 2018 and 3rd July, 2018.

Learned counsel for the SDMC further states that not only will they ensure that no unauthorised construction is carried on in the subject property but will also demolish any unauthorised construction, if it exists, in the subject property.

In view of the foregoing, no further orders are called for save and except to direct the SDMC to take requisite action, in accordance with law, in relation to the unauthorised construction in the subject property.
