Learned Counsel for the Petitioners seeks to rely upon paragraph 12 of the settlement agreement dated 27.09.2024 executed before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre [hereinafter referred to as "SA"] to reiterate his contention that the father of the Petitioners i.e., the Respondent has passed away. He further submits that prior to his demise, the parties had amicable settled their disputes.

1.1 Learned Counsel for the Petitioners further submits that the Respondent had agreed to file an affidavit giving his no objection to allowing the prayers in the present Petition. 2.

The prayer in the present Petition is to set aside the order and judgment dated 18.05.2015 passed by the Maintenance Tribunal (Central District), New Delhi under Maintenance and Welfare of the Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 [hereinafter referred to as "Tribunal"] in case no. 83/Jangi Lal/Central/2014/605-607 titled as Jangi Lal v. Babu Lal & Anr. 3.

The challenge in the present Petition was to an order passed granting relief to the Respondent. Concededly, the Respondent has passed away, thus The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the lis no longer survives. In view of the aforegoing, this Court deems it apposite to dispose of the present Petition, however no equity shall flow to the Petitioners from the order passed today.

The Petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending Application shall also stand closed.
