The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:- "That this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to:- a.

Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or direction directing restoration of electricity in the Petitioner's premise bearing No. I-56, left portion of ground floor, Lajpat Nagar-II, New Delhi, during pendency of the appeal currently pending before the Ld. ADM (South East); and b.

Pass such other order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

The learned counsel for the respondents states, even though there is an inter se dispute between the petitioner and his landlord, the electricity has

been disconnected by the respondents because of non-payment of Rs.18,000/- as consumption charges. He concedes the issue whether the petitioner is liable to pay domestic charges or commercial charges is pending consideration with the concerned ADM. He also states, the respondents shall accept the payment of Rs.18,000/- if tendered by the petitioner and on such payment, the electricity shall be restored within 2 days, thereafter.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is agreeable to this submission of the learned counsel for the respondents. He also states that the petitioner shall continue to pay the future consumption charges on domestic rates. 4.

Noting the submission made above, the petitioner shall deposit the arrears of the consumption charges amounting to Rs.18,000/- on or before July 17, 2018. Upon receipt of the payment, the respondents shall restore the electricity connection within two days thereafter. The petition is disposed of.

CM No. 26117/2018 Dismissed as infructuous.
