CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJIV KHANNA HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE CHANDER SHEKHAR
O R D E R
% 31.01.2017 The impugned orders dated 15th January, 2015 and 21st July, 2015 are revisable under Section 116 of the Delhi Cooperative Societies Act, 2003. Learned counsel for the respondent-Government of NCT of Delhi has also drawn our attention to Rule 19(2) of the Delhi Cooperative Societies Rules, 2007.
There would be number of issues and questions relating to facts and the scope and compliance of Rule 19(2) of the Delhi Cooperative Societies Rules, 2007. As the enactment itself provides a suitable and equally
efficacious alternative remedy, we do not deem it appropriate to entertain the present writ petition.
The petitioner submits that there has been some delay in filing of the revision petition and this writ petition has remained pending in the Court since 9th September, 2016. In case, the petitioner files a revision petition within thirty days from today, the same would not be dismissed on the ground of limitation.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of, without expressing any opinion on merits, giving liberty to the petitioner to file a revision petition. SANJIV KHANNA, J.
CHANDER SHEKHAR, J.
