% 25.07.2018 The petition at hand seeks cancellation of the bail granted to the second respondent by the court of Sessions in case FIR No.38/2014, registered under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC of Police Station Geeta Colony. The counsel for the petitioner, the first informant of the case, submitted that the proceedings before the trial court are also held up as the second respondent, the accused in the case, has jumped bail, it resulting in non-bailable warrants (NBWs) being issued against him by the trial court. If that be so, the order cancellation of which is sought by the petition at hand, has exhausted itself and the petition cannot survive. The petition is disposed of with these observations. The trial court, however, shall bear in mind the result of the petition for cancellation of the bail order when the accused approaches it for either cancellation of the NBWs or for fresh release on bail.
