% 12.02.2020 This petition has been filed seeking transfer of Civil Suit bearing CS No. 59885/2016 titled Sudipta Basu Vs. Rupa Basu pending adjudication before the Court of the learned Additional District Judge (North), Rohini Courts, Delhi to the Court of the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi.

The suit is between the husband and wife. It is asserted in the petition that both the parties reside at Vasant Kunj, which falls within the jurisdiction of the Patiala House Courts. It is further asserted that there are other litigations pending between the parties before the Patiala House Courts. In spite of service of notice on the respondent, the respondent has not entered appearance.

In view of the averments made in the petition, the Civil Suit bearing CS No. 59885/2016 titled Sudipta Basu Vs. Rupa Basu is transferred to the Court of the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi, to be listed before the transferee court on 15th May, 2020. The petition is allowed in the above terms.
