% 11.03.2019 SDMC has filed a status report. Para 3 of the status report reads as under:- "3.

That upon receiving the copy of the petition the area field staff of the Building Department-II of South Zone/SDMC has inspected the site / property in question bearing No.18-E/1, Ground Floor, Ward No.1, Mehrauli New Delhi and upon inspection it has been noticed that the same is consists of Ground floor to Third floor which is apparently more than 10 years old and is residentially occupied. However during the said inspection it has been noticed that the owner / occupier was carrying out construction of the nature of Chajja at the roof height of the ground floor on its back side without any permission. Noticing the same the said construction activity was got stopped at its ongoing / initial stage and the necessary stop work letter bearing No.3068/AE/(B)/SZ/2018 dated 4/12/2018 has also been issued and served upon the concerned

SHO with the request that no fresh construction activity take place. The copy of the said letter and the latest photographs of the property are annexed herewith as Annexure-A(Colly)." Suffice it to state that there is no averment as to what action has been taken on the unauthorized construction. Learned counsel for the SDMC states that a further status report shall be filed. Let the status report be filed by the concerned Dy. Commissioner of the Corporation within two weeks from today.
