This writ petition is disposed of with the consent order that petitioner through its duly authorized representative who will be a senior officer and duly instructed will appear in the proceedings before the respondent no.1 pursuant to the notices dated 17.5.2016 and 6.6.2016 and the respondent no.1 thereafter will proceed in accordance with law and the ratio of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of All India Indian Overseas Bank SC and ST Employees' Welfare Association and Ors. Vs. W.P.(C) No.5603/2016

Union of India (UOI) and Ors. (1996) 6 SCC 606. 2.

In view of the fact that petitioner will be represented by the duly authorized senior officer who will have complete instructions as also petitioner will file necessary pleadings supported by the documents, if detailed replies of the petitioner are already not filed before the respondent no.1, it is agreed that there will be no requirement of personal appearance of the Director General of the petitioner in the proceedings before the respondent no.1.
