% 16.08.2016 Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that illegal and unauthorized construction is being permitted to be carried out at property bearing No. B-28/5, Shaheen Bagh (near Zaid Mothersa), Okhla, New Delhi - 25.

Status report has been filed by the respondent i.e. South Delhi Municipal Corporation. In this status report it is stated that property in question stands booked on 01.06.2016 for unauthorized construction on the ground, first and second floor as also on the third, fourth and fifth floor. Action under Sections 343/344 of DMC Act, 1957 has also been initiated. Sealing proceedings under Section 345-A of the said Act has further been initiated. Work stop notice was issued on 21.06.2016 and again on 30.06.2016 and thereafter on 08.08.2016. The concerned authorities have also been asked to disconnect the

essential amenities i.e. electricity and water. Para 8 further states that demolition order has been passed (date not given) and the demolition program has now been fixed for 31.08.2016.

The status report filed by the concerned SHO, Jamia Nagar has also been perused. Since the demolition program has now been fixed for 31.08.2016, the police shall give adequate assistance to the Corporation to carry out the demolition order in true letter and spirit. No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
