% 16.07.2018 Respondent nos. 2 to 4 are present in Court and have been identified by SI Udham Singh of police station Bindapur. It is submitted that a quarrel took place between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4 on some trivial issue wherein respondent nos. 2 to 4 sustained simple injuries.

This incident led to registration of FIR No.

18/2014 under Sections 324/323/34 IPC against the petitioners at police station Binda Pur on the complaint respondent no.2. It is further submitted that with the intervention of common friends, petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4 have settled their disputes amicably vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 18th January, 2018, therefore, present FIR and the consequent proceedings may be quashed.

Respondent nos. 2 to 4 submit

that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, they have no objection in quashing of the FIR.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanagting therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
