O R D E R
% 16.07.2018 It is submitted that husband (petitioner no.1) and wife (respondent no.2) have started living together after settling their disputes before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi on 25th July, 2013. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Ramavtar of police station Nabi Karim. She admits having started living together with petitioner no.1 after settling her disputes with him of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She has no objection in case FIR No. 125/2013 under Sections 498A IPC registered at police station Nabi Karim is quashed against the petitioner.
Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together after ironing out their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be
served in keeping them entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
