CONT.CAS.(C) 565/2018 The grievance of the petitioner is predicated on the circumstance that despite the passage of time, a tender to carry out construction of sheds, as per the proposed plan, has not been issued so far. Notice.

Mr. Rajan Tyagi, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of East Delhi Municipal Corporation (for short 'EDMC') and states on instructions CONT.CAS.(C) 565/2018

that the subject tender has since been issued. Counsel for EDMC further states that necessary steps for the early completion of the construction of sheds will be taken expeditiously and positively within a period of two months from today.

The above undertaking furnished on behalf of EDMC is accepted. In view of the foregoing, no further directions are required to be passed in the present proceedings, but a bar on the EDMC, to not remove the petitioner from any temporary structures, as raised by them at the subject location, till the time the latter are provided with permanent sheds, as aforesaid.
