% 10.08.2016 Respondent No.3 is the father of petitioner No.1. He is present in Court.

Apprehending threat to their lives, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition, seeking police protection. Respondent No.3 submits that he has never threatened the petitioners nor has any intention to cause harm to them.

Vide order dated 17th June, 2016, it was ordered that adequate police protection be granted to the petitioners, upon their contacting them the Investigating Officer.

A Status Report has been filed by the Station House Officer, Police Station, Mangolpuri, Delhi, wherein it is stated that petitioner No.1 was contacted and she had stated that she was living happily with petitioner No.2 and had no apprehension from any quarter. It is further stated that the mobile

numbers of the Beat Constable and the Chowki Incharge have been provided to the petitioners to enable them to contact them, in case of any need or apprehension. Neither the petitioners nor their counsel is present in Court today.

The writ petition is disposed of, in view of the statement of respondent No.3, coupled with the facts averred in the Status Report. Crl.M.A. 9961/2016 is also disposed of.
