% 20.06.2016 The petitioner claims that his son who is 3 1⁄2 years old has been illegally detained by his wife. Ms. Gauba learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has also learnt through the neighbours that the child has probably been given in adoption.
Petitioner also fears that petitioner would be entangled in false cases in case he approaches the family court. After some hearing, Ms.Gauba submits that leave be granted to the petitioner to approach the family court and also prays for a direction that in case the petitioner is threatened by his wife or her family members, the police would look into the complaint.
We have no hesitation in recording that in case the petitioner approaches the family court his petition would be considered in accordance with law. In case a complaint is made to the police by the petitioner the
police would examine the complaint in accordance with law. The petition is disposed of with the above directions as prayed. Dasti.
