By this petition, petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to file Special Leave Petition and re-establish ties. 2.

On a notice being issued a status report has been filed. As per the status report, family of the petitioner comprising of his mother, wife, two daughters and brothers was found residing at S-13/8, Jogabai Extension, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi.

As per the nominal roll, the petitioner has been in continuous custody since 1st September, 2013 except for a brief spell of seven days when he was granted interim suspension of sentence by this Court w.e.f. 9th May, 2017. There is no allegation that the petitioner misused the concession of interim suspension of sentence granted to him by this Court. W.P.(CRL) 2022/2018

Considering the facts verified, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹15,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court, which condition was imposed on the petitioner when he was granted interim suspension of sentence.

Copy of the order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
