% 19.07.2016 By this petition, the petitioner has sought parole on the ground of attending to his property under consideration. He had earlier been granted parole for a period of one month which expired on 21.06.2016. This petition was preferred while the petitioner was on parole. However, since no parole was granted, he surrendered on 21.06.2016. The status report placed on record does not support the ground taken by the petitioner. However, the petitioner has preferred another application i.e. Crl. M.A. No. 10306/2016 seeking parole to attending the wedding of his cousin sister. The factum of the said marriage has been verified.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the application on the ground that the petitioner has availed parole only recently, as aforesaid, and that the marriage is not that of a blood relation, but of a cousin sister. Having heard learned counsels and considering the fact the petitioner had earlier surrendered punctually when he was released on parole, and there is no adverse report with regard to his jail conduct, the petitioner is directed to be released on parole for a period of one week to be able to attend the marriage of his cousin sister. This is subject to the condition that the petitioner shall furnish a personal bond with one surety in the sum of Rs.10,000/- to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendant. He shall provide his mobile phone number and the same shall be kept in working condition at all times. He shall surrender punctually at the end of period of one week. Petition and application stands disposed of.
