The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.778/2015 registered under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at PS KNK Marg. Status report not filed.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties including the counsel for the complainant and have examined the file. By an order dated 24.06.2016, the petitioner was granted interim protection. The matter was referred to Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre. However, the matter could not be resolved there. 3.
During the course of arguments, the petitioner's counsel, on instructions, volunteered to pay `2 lacs to the complainant without prejudice and subject to future adjustment. On this, the complainant has no objection to the grant of anticipatory bail. BAIL APPLN. 1309/2016

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the petitioner's offer to pay `2 lacs to the complainant without prejudice and subject to future adjustment, he is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of `40,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.
He shall pay `1 lac to complainant within a month and the remaining amount of `1 lac within next one month. This payment shall be by way of Demand Draft in the name of the complainant through the Investigating Officer.

The bail application stands disposed of.
